Hope everyone had a nice holiday and is ready for the New Year!

Our next practice will be Wednesday, January 4th; and will be the Lapathon. I've attached another copy of the Lapathon form, which was handed out at the Parent-Athlete meeting. Feel free to duplicate!

Our next meet is Friday January 6th, at UVAC.

Both the girls and the boys were undefeated last Friday in our meet at Colby Sawyer College. There were two more State Qualifiers (James and Connor) and lots of best times.

The results have been posted at the RESULTS tab above.

There were MANY last minute emails from people who could not come to the meet. This causes two problems:

1.) We have a contract for the bus. We cannot cancel a 5:30 bus at 5:15. We had to pay for the second bus, even though we could have all fit on one. That was several days of pool time.

We will be having (optional)practices during break. If you are in town, I recommend coming so you don't get out of shape and have to start over.

T - no practice
F - 10am - 12pm practice, 12pm - 2pm Start & Turn Clinic

Week of 25 - 31 December
M- W - F 10am - pm practice

Due to scheduling at Colby Sawyer, we will not be allowed into the pool area until 6:35. Therefore, we will be leaving later. Please be at the high school at 5:15pm instead of 4:30.

Hi Everyone,

This Friday's meet is hosted by Kearsarge at Colby-Sawyer. Meet at the high school at 4:30 Friday for the bus to Colby Sawyer. We usually return around 11pm. In order to return as early as possible, we order pizza and eat it in the lobby instead of stopping somewhere. Please bring $5 if you plan to eat and give it to a captain when you board the bus. Exact change is appreciated.

We need a parent volunteer to meet and pay the pizza deliveryman at the end of the meet.

Despite a few glitches, we had a fantastic meet tonight against Lebanon, John Stark and Bishop Brady. Several people (Parker, ChiChi, Neha, Sandy, Katie, Corrie, Katie and Brendan) qualified for the State Championships and several more are close. Lots of swimmers tried new events for the first time.

I was especially impressed with all the people who cheered for their teammates til the very end, even after the other teams started leaving. That's what supporting your teammates is all about!

Next meet is next Friday at Colby Sawyer College in New London.

We host our first meet tomorrow at the CCBA in Lebanon. We will be swimming against Lebanon, John Stark and Bishop Brady.

It should be a great meet and a lot of fun.
Being the host means we have to set up the touch pads and timing system before warm ups, and put it all away after the last relay.

Please be at the CCBA at 5pm.

I expect to end around 9pm. Please make sure you have a ride home.

Parents are welcome(needed!)to time during the meet. It's fun and easy and we'll show you how.

If school is cancelled, then swimming is cancelled.

If school is delayed, we will have swimming.

If there is an early release, swimming is cancelled.

Hi Everybody!

Since the UVAC team has a meet Saturday, we can have the pool!

Practice is 9 to 11 Saturday morning, followed by brunch at EBA's. This is, of course, optional. (I know there are SATs, etc.)

The brunch at EBAs costs $6.95, with tax and tip you need $9. Please bring exact change. Don't forget to plan your carpools! (Remember coaches cannot drive athletes.) We will be in the back room.

EBAs would like a headcount, so RSVP to James NLT Thursday!
